Professional Data Audit
Before large physical movement of data, KDM recommends an audit of physical inventory performed at each storage location. This will determine the size and scope of the archive project for budgetary purposes.
KDM's team of experience data managers will:
- Validate or determine expected number of physical data items,
- Determine approximate number of each type of data and media,
- Estimate quality of media,
- Verify existence of key support material (e.g. navigation data, metadata)
When an inventory database is available, it can be verified for completeness of information.
